WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
A weekend trip starts early Saturday morning with a gear check in Keene Valley. After gear check you will he hiked to our backcountry camp location where we will drop off the overnight gear as a group. While a guide stays behind to set up camp for the night the group will continue on to their designated summit for the day. Once reaching the top of the selected mountain we will have a quick snack and your guides will lead you back to the camp site where dinner will be served. On Sunday your guides will prepare breakfast for you, help you pack the overnight gear and lead you back to the valley floor.
TAP provides NOLS certified guides, food, snacks, tents, and knowledge of the Adirondack Region. Custom trips are also available if sleeping in the backcountry isn’t your cup of tea.
